Settling in Services

Once a suitable property has been secured settling in services become an important part of relocating, so an assignee starts to settle in and feel at home in their new location. We introduce Assignees to their home, the neighbourhood and useful local services.

Settling in services are co-ordinated by a primary point of contact who ensures that each Assignee has all of the support they need to settle in their new location.

Our settling in programmes are aligned to an Assignee’s profile, specific needs and work within an agreed relocation policy.

Partner Support

Partner Support

An unhappy spouse is often the reason why a relocation programme may fail. Accent Relocation both recognises and understands how hard it can be for the Assignee’s partner when their life is significantly changed by a move through corporate relocation.

We offer tailor-made support for partners to help them make the most of the assignment both professionally and personally. Career specialists provide advice on what work may be legally possible, including finding volunteer work and educational courses in their new location.

Our partner support programmes typically incorporate the following options:

  • Pre arrival questionnaire – essential information is collated an options discussed
  • Employment mentoring – expert advice is provided to help maximise opportunities for employment
  • Self employed options – for partners wishing to explore more entrepreneurial endeavours we are able to guide and advise on the support networks and resources available to support self employment
  • Social and community – working within a local community can sometimes be an excellent way of making new acquaintances and settling in to a new location whilst enjoying fulfilment from supporting worthwhile causes. Our partner support programmes can assist assignee partners with such activities
