South West England

South West England relocations are typically driven by businesses moving to Bristol, Exeter, Cardiff or Bath. These business centres are typically where major employers are based, skilled labour and superior transport connections.

The south west of England covers areas from Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, to the South of Wales. The region is enveloped by the beautiful coastline, characterised by the Jurassic Coast with a World Heritage status.

Plymouth is one of the historical cities along with Winchester, Salisbury and Dorchester. Offering never-ending beautiful English landscapes are the Exmoor Moorlands, Dartmoor’s Navy retreat, the New Forest and the Brecon Beacons.

The south west is aided by efficient road and rail services, alongside good air links from Newquay, Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Bournemouth and Southampton, helping its Business Centres to flourish and allowing the everyday worker to have the best of both worlds.

With most of the south west being bordered by the coast, the majority of the economy has been linked to maritime industries as well as the defence sector. The most dominant business centre is in Bristol, where the air flight manufacturing industry has dominated the economy along with industries such as telecommunications and electronics. The south west is a popular tourist destination, highlighting the fact that the service sector is the biggest in the region and the tourist sector contributing significantly to the regions income. Significant relocations that have taken place in the regions include the UK’s metrological office that injected significant reconstruction to areas in Exeter and proposed great opportunities for research and education as well as employment.
